Lufkin Panthers Fall to Port Arthur Memorial Titans, 30-0

Lufkin Panthers suffered a 30-0 defeat against Port Arthur Memorial Titans on Friday, marking their first home loss of the season.

The Panthers experienced a tough outing on Friday, facing a decisive 30-0 loss against the Port Arthur Memorial Titans, marking the first time this season that the Panthers have lost in front of their home crowd.

Lufkin came into Friday's match up with a renewed confidence on defense after a 3.5 sack win with JaRyen Whitaker leading the Panthers' defense with two sacks and has been a key player, registering six or more total tackles in each of the last three games.

With this loss, Lufkin's record now stands at 5-3 and 2-2 in district play.

The Panthers are set to meet Beaumont United at 7:00 p.m. on Friday October 31st.
